Can my children come with to the workshop? Our workshops are focused on confectionery techniques and some concepts are too advanced for kids. We recommend ages 14+ for most workshops and occasionally exceptions are made for younger guests who are accompanied by an adult companion (two seperate tickets except for the specified "kid friendly" classes). 

Due to the size of our workshop space and desire to create an intimate experience for guests only one child per adult companion is allowed in our kid-friendly workshops. Minimum age is 7 years old for saftey and attention span of our guests. Accommodations for very young (0-4mo) infants can be made. Please email prior to class if you would like to attend and need to bring your nursing/ very young infant.

What if we get COVID and can't come to our workshop? Please only attend workshops if you are feeling healthy. These situations will be addressed on a case by case basis.

Can we bring our own snacks? Yes you are welcome to bring your own snacks and beverages. In some of our classes a cheese and fruit plate is included in the workshop.

What should we bring? Bring yourself! :-) If you have a favorite apron or comfortable shoes you might like to have those items in class. Keep in mind chocolate can easily stain and your clothes should be free from pet hair.

Is there a physical ticket? There are not physical tickets for classes. Leading up to the workshop you will get an email reminder/ hello sent to the email you register with. 

How many people are in workshops? Our indoor workshop space holds about 12 people comfortably and we currently allow up to 8-12 people total for classes. 

Where are the workshops? Classes are held in our confectionery kitchen and workshop space. We are located in the back of a shared-use building (The Outreach Program is in the front of the building). Guests use the sidewalk that wraps around the building to enter our kitchen and workshop space.
